Desizing and Bioscouring |
| Sizing of the warp yarn is essential to reduce breakage of the yarn and thus production stops on the weaving machine. Different types of sizes such as starch, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), and acrylates are used to protect the yarn. In wet process first step is remove this size called as desizing process. This process followed by removed the natural as well as man-made impurities with sodium hydroxide and emulsifier called as scouring. By this both process goods becomes completely free from impurities becomes hydrophilic in nature and ready for further wet process. |

| Bilanz Discour is developed for desizing and bioscouring by pad batch method. Bilanz Discour hydrolyses and reduces the molecular weight size of amylose and amylopectin molecule in starch and converts it into water soluble foam and easily washes off from fabric. In same time pectinase attack on pectin present in primary and secondary wall of the substrate, wax which is bonded with pectin also removed by subsequent washing process. Bilanz Discour concept is for saving precious water, energy and time. |
